Rabbit Heart!
THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS AND IT'S INTENDED TO TALK ABOUT THEM. IF YOU HAVENT READ THE NOVEL WE ADVISE YOU TO LEAVE AND COME BACK ONCE YOU'RE DONE READING!!
The Idea of this entry is to give the team thoughts about the product, in two parts, the first one in a technical aspect intended for other aspiring translators or people interested in that side of translation! After that is spoiler talk, just the team general feelings about the product.
Translator Side
The second →Quantize_ novel, I managed to squeeze this one before the end of september somehow. A pretty straight foward translation honestly, might be what I needed after the last story. As it was a short one I tried to use new tools and learn different things, I'm now using a program called Translator++ which allows me to have the scripts organized and easire to translate. Before I would go into each of the script files and line by line in notepad++ modify them... So with this new tool things will be easier for me.
The other thing is, as you probably noticed, I learned how to patch .exe only games in TyranoScript, so now I don't have to compile my own version and then having the antiviruses think I'm trying to steal your precious data. So... that's nice.
The next novel will take longer for 2 reasons: First, the next novel is an 8 hour, more action oriented novel, which spawned a sequel which was greenlit on campfire(jp Kickstarter, sequel is 16 hours+!!) I'm very excited to translate it, but it will take time, will be the longest project I've done so far. And second, last week, I announced a spanish version for Sousaku Kanojo Ren'ai Koushiki which I'm also going to focus part of my time on. Only spanish, don't want any legal issues :)
Thoughts Side
The theme for the first couple of novels of Quantize, is pretty clear. Enjoying your life making sure you don't die trying. If I'm honest this one didn't connect with me as much, could be that I liked the first one much more and themes are very similar. Either way I think it's a nice story. It goes straight to the point with a small reference to the last novel. Hopefully you can enjoy it as well!
